Have you seen the movie? This is when I joined John Abraham's fanclub. Lisa was gorgeous as ever and Seema Biswas brilliant. But what stayed in the mind after the movie was the girl who played the role of Chuhiya. Cute, chubby chubby and a moving perfomance. Im happy that this movie goes to Oscar but afsos from Canada. What is India's nomination this time ?
Saw a good review of Dor on rediff. Would love to see the movie. Ayesha Takia was very refreshing in Socha Na Tha, Shreyas was mind blowing in Iqbal and Nagesh Kukunoor 's movies are always a delight :-) Will it be released in Chennai! Im watching out :-)

India's selection for Oscar are mostly worse than one can imagine. Leaving all good movies behind, Paheli went to represent India. So dont hope much.

I dunno BD somehow after the movie I was not convinced. From the lady's point of view, yes she was left alone and she dint have a choice in it. juhi's case was even more pathetic.
But rom the guy's point of view he was following what his father said. he does miss her doesnt he! and when he comes back he finds himself without his own family.
Its just a tale and if we take it as that I think it was nice but confusing if we analyse it.

( I went to school !!!! ) ... yes thats a nice movie..... actually its also good to read it the novel.... and there is a option in Blogspot, where u can turn off anonymous postings. Yeah I saw that too. RDB was a good movie but not as good as that!! Water is also in the foreign language category but it has been nominated by Canada. Jus that cast and part of the crew happens to be indian. so RDB and water compete. I think water wins.
